By car:
Ontario's largest highway, Highway 401, runs through Bay of Quinte Country so it is an easy and accessible drive from anywhere in Ontario.
From Pearson International Airport in Toronto, Bay of Quinte Country is about two hours away. Coming from the west, the Colborne areas marks the beginning of Bay of Quinte Country; from the west, Napanee is the marker.
The closest international border crossing is near Alexandria Bay in New York. From there, get on Highway 401 and head west.

By boat:
The sparkling Trent-Severn Waterway hosts houseboats, outboards, canoes, rowboats, cruisers and sailboats throughout the warmer months and provides a leisurely 386 kilometre route from Trenton on western Lake Ontario, to Port Severn, on Georgian Bay. The sheltered water highway covers over 1500 kilometres of shoreline, and encompasses a myriad of islands and lakes. Originally planned as a trade route, the system of 44 locks was started over 160 years ago with the construction of a small wooden lock at Bobcaygeon. It took almost 100 years to complete and is now used almost exclusively for recreation. Of course, it's easy to get to Bay of Quinte Country when boating in Lake Ontario as well. Lake Ontario offers over 50 marinas and limitless boating, being part of the St. Lawrence Seaway. In Bay of Quinte Country, cities such as Belleville, provide great boating facilities, and smaller lakeside towns may be visited by boat as well.
By train:
